2019 was an very exciting year for me. Looking back I was surprised by how much I have done this year around Laravel and development in general. Living for a full year in my new house with my now fiance and flying all over the world for different conferences. With that, I had less focus on my personal health goals, but you can't have it all of course. Can't wait to get started with 2020.
Yesterday I tweeted about Dependabot. Dependabot is a tool that will check if any of your dependencies is outdated and shoot in a pull request to update this dependency. This way you keep all your dependencies up to date. Another benefit of this is that you can run this every night for example so you will have all the updates the next morning ready to be merged. How convenient is that? Let's see how we can set this up together.
2018 is almost done and I want to look back on last year. This is the first time I’m blogging and looking back publicly as well. I want to start blogging more often and this should be a good start for finishing up 2018. This year was a long rollercoaster ride because of a few things. A lot of things happened around family, getting my first house and life together with my girlfriend for the first time. Also, a lot happened around my day job at Enrise around self-steering and development. This blog is more of a reflection of 2018 and looking forward to 2019. I hope you learn from my mistakes ;)
